Personal Interests: I love to travel and explore new places! I enjoy being physically active (swimming, dancing, weight lifting, kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, snorkeling, SCUBA diving, etc.). If I’m not at work or at the gym, you can probably find me at home watching late night comedy or rewatching my favorite episodes of “Parks and Rec”
What you like about Buffalo: I am excited to be back in Buffalo, where the food is delicious, the people are welcoming, and the city is surrounded by natural beauty!

Shelby Hall
Hometown: Hamburg, NY

Research Interests: QI (especially clinical effectiveness guidelines, workflow optimization, and throughput), and sedation
Personal Interests: I enjoy walking/hiking with my dog, lifting weights, and spending time with my family! Also just bought a house so I have been trying to hone my inner Johanna Gaines and do some DIY projects.
What you like about Buffalo: Buffalo is a great medium-sized city that has all the attractions of a larger city (sports, music, food/drink) but is much more spacious and homey! I love taking my dog for hikes at Chestnut Ridge or the Outer Harbor, I am always interested in trying out new IPAs and bourbon cocktails. I enjoy the many breweries and bars around town.

Personal Interests: I’m an avid rock climber, love to kayak, and play tennis. During the winter, you’ll find me baking sweet treats, painting, and hitting the ski slopes.
What you like about Buffalo: It’s a stand-alone children’s hospital and level 1 trauma center. And the PEM fellows get priority for every trauma or procedure. Also great places to visit like the outer harbor & canalside. Also Susana’s backyard.
